Shipping & Logistics

Reliable full-container export of Taishi® rock wool from Qingdao Port, with clear Incoterms, honest loading economics and EU-compliant pallets.

Incoterms & Responsibility

We quote on the terms that suit your supply chain and state exactly where our responsibility ends.

  • FOB Qingdao for buyers who control their own ocean freight and insurance.
  • CIF to your destination port when you want a delivered-to-port price.
  • Each quote names the Incoterms rule and the responsibility boundary in writing.

Container Loading

Rock wool is light and bulky, so how a container is loaded drives the landed cost more than the goods value does.

  • Loose (bulk) loading is the default: it fills the full cubic capacity with no pallet cost.
  • Palletised loading is available on request and is priced separately (pallet fee plus the cubic it displaces).
  • Because the product is light, a container holds far more pallets than weight-limited cargo, often double-stacked.

Packaging & Protection

Boards and rolls are compression-packed and wrapped to survive a 35-45 day ocean voyage.

  • Compressed, shrink-wrapped bundles with printed product and batch labelling.
  • Moisture-barrier protection for the marine leg.
  • Labelling to your market's language and marking requirements on request.

EU Pallets & ISPM-15

Solid-wood packaging entering the EU must meet ISPM-15, or the consignment is held at the port. We plan for this up front.

  • Solid-wood pallets are heat-treated (56°C for 30 minutes) and IPPC-marked.
  • Fumigation-exempt plywood or moulded pallets are a lower-cost alternative we prefer for EU orders.
  • Pallet type is agreed before booking, so there is no port hold or rework.

Lead Time

Total lead time runs from your deposit through to arrival at the destination port.

  • Production is 15-20 working days after deposit for a standard full-container order.
  • Ocean transit is typically 35-45 days depending on the destination.
  • Plan for roughly 55-70 days deposit-to-port, confirmed against the booked sailing.

Freight & Booking

Ocean freight moves with the market, so a CIF price is tied to a specific sailing rather than an open-ended period.

  • Freight is quoted against a named sailing at the all-in rate, not a base-port index.
  • The freight portion is locked when the booking is confirmed.
  • If a sailing is missed, the rate is re-quoted against the next available booking.

Export Documentation

A full, consistent document set ships with every order for smooth customs clearance.

  • Commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading.
  • Certificate of Origin and, where required, the Declaration of Performance and test reports.
  • Document copies are sent in advance for your review before originals are released.

Typical, not guaranteed. A single sailing depends on the service string, transshipment and any blank sailings, and is confirmed against the booked vessel. North-Europe and Mediterranean ranges reflect the prevailing Cape of Good Hope routing. Not a freight quotation.
