Every Taishi® rock wool order is backed by a certified factory quality system and third-party lab verification. Ask for the underlying test reports before you approve the product.
Certified Factory Quality System
Taishi® production runs under a fully certified management system, with in-line checks at every stage from melt to finished board.
- •ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) certified.
- •In-line monitoring of density, thickness and binder content on each production run.
- •Batch traceability from raw basalt feedstock through to the finished pallet.
Independent Third-Party Labs
We do not ask you to take factory data on trust. Core properties are measured by accredited independent laboratories.
- •SGS-CSTC (CNAS L0599) tests thermal, mechanical and fire properties to European methods.
- •CE EN 13162 conformity is assessed by Intertek under Notified Body 2649.
- •Each report names the laboratory, accreditation number, test method and sample, so your engineers can verify it.
What We Test
The properties that matter for specification and approval are measured to recognised European standards.
- •Thermal conductivity and reaction to fire (Euroclass A1, non-combustible).
- •Compressive strength, tensile strength perpendicular to the faces, and water absorption.
- •Dimensional tolerances and density across the EN 13162 declared range (40-180 kg/m³).
Certification-Backed
Test data is anchored in active, downloadable third-party certificates rather than self-declared claims.
- •CE EN 13162 (Intertek NB 2649), FM Approval (Class 4470 roof board) and CCS Works Approval.
- •KS L 9102 (Korea), GOST (CIS region) and a RoHS test report.
- •Every certificate is a real PDF you can download and verify, with no in-progress placeholders.
Documents on Request
Engineering and compliance documents are issued per order so your team can verify before approval.
- •Laboratory test reports and a Certificate of Conformity for the supplied batch.
- •Declaration of Performance (DoP) to EN 13162 for the supplied product.
- •Material data for project submittals, provided on request.
Pre-Shipment Inspection
For buyers who want eyes on the goods before they sail, we support independent loading supervision.
- •Third-party pre-shipment inspection and loading supervision (for example by SGS) can be arranged.
- •Quantity, packaging and labelling are verified against the order before the container is sealed.
- •Any inspection cost is quoted separately and shared transparently.
